Julie Anne Culp, a school teacher from Tennessee, wanted to educate her 5th grade students about the dangers and lack of control that photos over the internet have.

As a social experiment she uploaded a picture to her profile showing her holding a sign saying: ‘I’m talking to my 5th grade students about internet safety and how quickly a photo can be seen by lots of people. If you are reading this, please click ‘LIKE’. Thanks!’

Indeed the photo has gone extremely viral collecting over 390,000 likes and 30,000 shares.

Later on the photo was shared on Tige and Daniel radio show where it collected another 4,000,000 likes and almost 100,000 shares. And lastly it collected another 900,000 likes on Society’s Choice’s Page. That is a total of about 4.5 million likes, but the photo was also seen by friends of those who liked, getting to an even wider audiance.

The amazing thing is that Jolie’s profile is almost completely private aside two or three posts.

And as with all internet gone viral the photoshoped versions arrived… proving that you can be turned into a meme too
